Starting in the wealth management industry in 1992, Richard started his career as acold call cowboymaking three hundred cold calls a day everyday for a Bay Street firm. Following a ten-year record of raising over $3B in assets, Richard was invited to design and deliver a certificate program atSchulich School of Business (Executive Development Centre) York Universityon the subject ofmarketing and selling wealth management services. To date Richard has raised over $7B in assets worldwide and coached hundreds of financial advisors, wealth managers and family offices.
Richard has worked and collaborated with wealth management and banking brands such as ING, Trimark Mutual Funds, BNP Paribas, Societé Generale, Fidelity Investments, CIBC, HSBC, TD Bank, Royal Bank (RBC) , Scotiabank and National Bank of Canada to name a few.
Since 2006 Richard has toured with US Presidents William Jefferson Clinton, George W. Bush , President Barack Obama and Donald J. Trump as well as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. He’s shared the stage with the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Ellen Degeneres, Tony Robbins, Sir Richard Branson, Robin Sharma, Dr. Paul Stoltz, Phil Town and Deepak Chopra to name a few.
Richard is the only Canadian to have been gifted two NBA Championship rings back-to-back during the Miami Heat Championship run in 2012 and 2013 and remains a performance advisor to Coach Juwan Howard (Miami Heat).
Richard provided thought leadership to brands such as Google, Chanel, GQ, Dragons’ Den, Sony Television, Callaway Golf, Bentley Motors, Rolls Royce, Remy Martin, Pagani Automobili and the National Basketball Association (NBRA).
